In the fall of trust,
We see no solution,
It happens to the best of us,

With voices still speaking,

This is the crisis,
Set in recluse,
Yet it entices,
The whole world to forget,

Branches will fall,
Whilst stems suffocate,
Obliged to crawl,
Alongside how we thrive,
The world is dead,
Now it's too late to try,

Why is there no resolution?
It's difficult to gather the point,
Of why this maze is still functioning,
When all the life is slowly wilting,

Is it so, that we don't care?
If that's the case,
When did we lose ourselves?

Not once have I felt secure,
As all these foundations cave in beneath us.
